Bottle at GBBF 08. Clear russet, thin beige head. Bit of farty yeast. Not that great, bit empty, sweetish malt. Bit of biscuit. Beef and onion hula hoops I thought. Not that good.

A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF.
Amber gold with a decent off white head. A reasonable balance of grassy hop and caramel malt. Rather sweet in the mouth with faint notes of hazelnut. Sweet again in the finish that is a little too swift and uneventful.

Can acquired in trade with BBB63 (thanks!). That’s right, this one came in a can. Best looking can I’ve seen - has a cool picture of an old airplane on it. Poured a medium to darker and slightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, light hops and a little musty. Tastes of caramel and toffee. Maybe some light citrus in there as well. Starts of a little sweet and ends with very light bitterness. Body was on the thin side.
