Sharp wheat, fruity, and spicy clove aroma. Silky mouthfeel, but crisp finish. Sharp wheat, light fruits, banana, and spicy clove at the finish. A good warm weather beer.

cloudy gold under a fizzy white head. more of an american wheat aroma by lacking in big spicy banana yeasty notes. there is some light banana and a bit of lemon but nothing exciting. flavor is average as well with light banana and grainy wheat notes. some buttered popcorn. light body. crisp carbonation. c average.

(Rating #2274)

Bottle sampled at the Warbird tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 2.19.09. Cloudy lemonade yellow in color with a big white head. Yeasty aroma with a bit of spice and hop. Yeast flavor with clove and hops. Not bad, but I typically don’t like Weizens.

Unclear light yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, sour, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter, sour milky with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (050808)

12oz. bottle. Spicy, citric aroma, plenty of clove and lemon, combined with lighter notes of sweet, grainy malts, grapefruit, banana and a mildly peppery bitterness. Thoroughly cloudy medium straw yellow in color (any sediment swirled and poured) with a lasting, finely creamy head. Flavor is strongly citric and spicy, with only a mild sweetness to start, turning fruity with a dominantly yeasty character, finishing somewhat acidic and bitter with a grassy, peppery close. Sharp, effervescent and thin on the palate, body is light-medium. Drinkable, in its way.
