Bottle courtesy of stfun. Pours amber and very hazy with a thin white head. Smells of rich coriander, bananas, wheat. Tastes of coriander, sweet citrus, bubblegum, some pepper and straw. Mouthfeel is full with a heavy mineral water like finish.

12 oz, bb 09 30 07. Slight haze on this topaz colored beer. Large head settles down quickly, but lasts well. Slight spicy banana aroma. Taste has some estery clove-banana flavors, but is equaled by spicy yeast and dry wheat tastes, with just right herb-bitter hops on the end. Clove-banana shows up more in the aftertaste. Soft, light-medium body has some tingle.

Very nice hefeweizen. Nice and flavorful nose with a couple fruits, and a little grassy. Not bland like some can be. A pleasure. Glad i picked this one up. Very well balanced and drinkable.

Pours a fully clouded yellowish with very minimal head that disappears. Nose is completely like banana bread. Just total funk going on here. I love this nose, and this is exactly how it should be smelling. Flavor is excellent. Very thick hefe characters going on here with the banana really coming forward. Smooth and consistent flavor profile. Feel has a lot of carbonation really attacking the tongue on it, which I find odd because I get no head. Liquid is the typical body. Overall a damn good brew that I would definitely suggest.

Bottle and served in Ayinger glass: Pours a nice cloudy golden hue with a fading fizzy head and spotty lace. The aroma has esters of banana, clove, pepper, herbs and grass, wheat, pale malts, and some butterscotch. The taste starts with a fruity note and some light grassy bitterness. Wheaty and biscuity with a hint of yeast as well. The finish displays a note of spice and just a dash of bright acidity. The mouth feel is lively and crisp, refreshing and enjoyable, dry finish. I pretty solid example of the genre.

From the bottle. Nice wheaty aroma. Flavor was tart, with a lot of wheat, yeast and pretty heavy lemon. Nothing screamed artificial about it. Good and a kickass bottle.

A real suprise here. This may have been the most true to style hefe I have tried. Seemed just right in about every way except there was no head at all.

Pours golden, cloudy with at hin mostly receding white head. Aroma is yeasty, banana, apple, and lemon. Taste is lightly sweet, yeasty, and bready. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Lightly sweet, drinkable, but not great.
