| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Pours a fully clouded yellowish with very minimal head that disappears. Nose is completely like banana bread. Just total funk going on here. I love this nose, and this is exactly how it should be smelling. Flavor is excellent. Very thick hefe characters going on here with the banana really coming forward. Smooth and consistent flavor profile. Feel has a lot of carbonation really attacking the tongue on it, which I find odd because I get no head. Liquid is the typical body. Overall a damn good brew that I would definitely suggest.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Bottle and served in Ayinger glass: Pours a nice cloudy golden hue with a fading fizzy head and spotty lace. The aroma has esters of banana, clove, pepper, herbs and grass, wheat, pale malts, and some butterscotch. The taste starts with a fruity note and some light grassy bitterness. Wheaty and biscuity with a hint of yeast as well. The finish displays a note of spice and just a dash of bright acidity. The mouth feel is lively and crisp, refreshing and enjoyable, dry finish. I pretty solid example of the genre. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 28, 2007 Bottle. Sweet wheaten aroma with yeast, biscuits, and some citrus. Pours an opaquely cloudy lemon yellow with a rich, creamy white head. Smooth medium body with a light wheaty aftertaste. Lemon comes out much more strongly in the taste, which is also yeasty and faintly cloven. Dryish and nicely spiced, with light carbonation and a pleasant, interesting mf. To style and tasty. I’m pleasantly surprised with this brewer, 2/2 so far! thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
