Commercial Description:
Warhawk Pale Ale is the best pale ale I've ever tasted. It is a truly "drinkable" pale ale. Warhawk Pale Ale is an American-Style Pale Ale, which means that it has assertive American hop character. You can really taste the Cascade hops. But what makes this a "drinkable" pale ale is the malt. We use premium 2-row malt and 3 specialty malts to give this beer the full malt complexity required to balance a "hoppy" beer. If you're a Pale Ale fan, you will absolutely love this beer. I guarantee it.

Very drinkable pale. Nice amber color with a heady pine aroma. The bitter/malt divide is pretty balanced leaving a smooth finish.

Copper, with a thick, loose, tan head. Caramel malt aroma. Medium-light body, with a sweet malt flavor and a flat mouth feel. Bitter, but not in a good way, too unbalanced.

Bottle. Pretty dark pour for a pale ale, like unpolished copper, with little to no head. The aroma is nice and foresty and this drinks with a nice robust pine syrupy goodness and a solid-as-oak malt underbase, too. Quite nice. (#3549, 5/22/2009)
