ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Jul 30, 2009 Amber with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops, with toffee and malt. Dry and malty flavour with pine and citrus hop flavour and a lasting bitterness dkoonce (880), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Jun 24, 2009 Copper, with a thick, loose, tan head. Caramel malt aroma. Medium-light body, with a sweet malt flavor and a flat mouth feel. Bitter, but not in a good way, too unbalanced. Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA May 22, 2009 Bottle. Pretty dark pour for a pale ale, like unpolished copper, with little to no head. The aroma is nice and foresty and this drinks with a nice robust pine syrupy goodness and a solid-as-oak malt underbase, too. Quite nice. (#3549, 5/22/2009) unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA May 15, 2009 12 oz.bottle: Pours a clear copper with a thin off-white head that diminishes rather quickly. Hoppy aroma has hints of citrus and floral. Flavor is malty with hints of grapefruit and caramel. Texture is creamy with a bitter finish. Well balance and very drinkable. A good brew for any pale ale lovers out there.
