Commercial Description:
Warhawk Pale Ale is the best pale ale I've ever tasted. It is a truly "drinkable" pale ale. Warhawk Pale Ale is an American-Style Pale Ale, which means that it has assertive American hop character. You can really taste the Cascade hops. But what makes this a "drinkable" pale ale is the malt. We use premium 2-row malt and 3 specialty malts to give this beer the full malt complexity required to balance a "hoppy" beer. If you're a Pale Ale fan, you will absolutely love this beer. I guarantee it.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and sweet malts. Some citrus hops on the nose but not much. Flavor has s little bit more hops on it but not much more. Pretty sweet APA. Nothing really that special.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a small dense off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and mild spiced with a light wooden note. Flavour is mild breadish and roasted with a nice hoppy base providing a bit of spices. Ends bitter and light wooden.

Thin off-white head of fine bubbles. Caramel malt aroma with a decent helping of piney hops and cereal grains. Color is a nice mahagony brown with a bit of fluff floating around in there. Kind of flat in the mouth. More caramel malts, dry bitterness and a grainy mouthfeel. Finishes bitter and sticky. An ok pale ale.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit and hops giving it notes of grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of grapefruit and hops, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy amber golden with a small, rough off-white head. Lightly sweet burned caramel and aroma hops in the nose. Medium body, accents of overripe fruit and burned caramel. Some bitterness in the finish. 201008

Bottle. [Tasting @ Papsoe 20-10-2008] Average foamy beige head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Amber color. Aroma of floral, mild grapefruit, citrus. Over the palate came peach, apricot, fruit, caramel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with good sweetness. Sweet chewy apricot floral dry finish with a liquorish like twist.

Bottle pours light amber/red color with off white head. Has a medium body with a little bit of carbonation. Head laces the glass as you drink it. Has grassy aromas mainly. Flavor is pretty awful. Has grassy flavors with alcohol taste dominating throughout. Overall this has flavors I dislike in this style and way too much alcohol.
