Commercial Description:
Warhawk Pale Ale is the best pale ale I've ever tasted. It is a truly "drinkable" pale ale. Warhawk Pale Ale is an American-Style Pale Ale, which means that it has assertive American hop character. You can really taste the Cascade hops. But what makes this a "drinkable" pale ale is the malt. We use premium 2-row malt and 3 specialty malts to give this beer the full malt complexity required to balance a "hoppy" beer. If you're a Pale Ale fan, you will absolutely love this beer. I guarantee it.

Bottle at GBBF 08. The best of the Warbird beers we had. Attractive amber colour with lasting beige head. Some hop, some malt. A rich malty ale. Actually it’s pretty drinkable.

Clear deep amber with medium beige head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel and hoppy notes. Flavor likewise with a bitter end.

Aroma is slightly malty. Appearance is dark. Extremely malty that becomes sort of syrup dry. Full body mouth feel.

Dark amber color was darker than most pale ales. More than usual bitterness for a pale ale. Medium body.

clear amber pour with no head..aroma similar to an irish ale or red ale..simples sugars, earth tones, light toast, and light pine..over-the-top sweetness ruins this american pale

12oz. bottle in a pint glass. Pours a nice inviting copper color with a two finger off white head that disapated quickly and left very little lacing. Aroma of hop, citrus, dough, and and a hint of nut. Flavor is the same stating malty and ending in a fine hop burst. Medium body creamy to bitter. Did not know of the high ABV until I finished one and then read the commerercial description, a wonderful surprise and well hidden until afterwards. All in all a really good APA that I will enjoy again.

Medium amber body with a lightly yellow head. The aroma is very nice citrus with the grapefruit and some toasted almonds. The mouthfeel is nice and creamy and it goes with the relatively mild hop character. There is a little bit of grapefruit rind with some walnuts. A solid APA for those that aren’t looking for a massive hop bomb. I was surprised at the abv listed, but I suppose that is why it has the full, fairly thick mouthfeel.
