Rciesla (3510), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Nov 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a copper body with an off white head. Apple and caramel tones, rather bland with a light earth hop accent. A bit dull but still a decent session ale. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Oct 26, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with an average sized white head. Aroma of sweet malt, honey, and bread/grain. Surprisingly decent. For the style, it was definitely better than most. A nice sweet malt presence that was quite tasty. A bit of earthy hopping in the finish. A little bit of a guilty pleasure. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Oct 7, 2009 Nice, clear, bright amber color. Diminished off-white head with a few isles of lace. A bit grain in aroma with some toasted malt attributes. Light sweet malt in the front, with some caramel, and wild honey. Light floral bitterness in the middle. I seem to sense the noble qualities, but they are not a big presence. Finish is a bit fruity, which help to remind me this is not an oktoberfest or vienna. It is a very easy drinking euro strong, with hints of bock, vienna, and märzen. Nice toasted malt linger. I have a feeling this would be very dangerous on tap. angrybeerman (107), Dublin, Ireland Oct 4, 2009 Had a nice amber colour with an OK white head. Fruity aroma. Taste was pretty sweet and fruity with a bitter finish. Balanced fairly well and not as strong as you might think given its ABV. Overall it was pretty decent. fobar (50), Søgne, Norway Sep 30, 2009 500ml bottle. Golden color with small white head. Fruity aroma. Not much bitterness. A little fruity taste. Little aftertaste. decimator (41), Ontario, Canada Sep 19, 2009 500ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Poured a deep gold / light amber color with a 1" head that was gone quickly. Very little lacing. Aroma is sweet & mildly fruity. Taste has sweetness upfront with a hint of citrus and a very mild bite of bitterness. Average carbonation. Feels a little sticky. The lack of a bitter aftertaste helps to hide the 7%ABV. Drinkable yes but I find it’s lacking some flavor. biggcb (459), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 8, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep orangish-amber color with a 1 finger white head. Aroma is full of caramel and malts. Flavor is much the same...with a little honey thrown in. Very sweet. Thin body. Low carbonation. Nothing I would search out, but was just fine wandering around the Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish-American festival munching on kielbasa, potato pancakes and pierogis!! Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Sep 3, 2009 Copper colour. Aroma of plastic and high alcohols. Thinnish body with unpleasan random phenols and some gakky caramel fake stuff.
