I tried this beer on February 11, 2008 after purchasing from my local LCBO outlet. The poured a translucent gold colour with a slight reddish tinge. The head was thin, and white, and there was quite a bit of effervescence. The aroma was rather weak, nothing at all that comes to mind aside from some grassy hints. The mouthfeel was light. almost watery, and little carbonation. The taste was very grassy was well, with some malty hints. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Not very hoppy but the alcohol is faint. The flavour is clean, light, a bit hoppy in the finish and a light clean watery body. evilempire (122), sheffield, South Yorkshire, England

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Updated: Jan 29, 2009500ml bottle. Pours a nice deep golden colour, a little bit amber, with a large, rocky white head. Aroma, wow, unlike any other lager I have had. Huge caramalts, some grassy hops, toffee, bread, some alcohol, and even a touch of roasty malts. Nice! Taste, quite well balanced, but generally loaded on malts. This baby is actually fairly complex! Same things I described in the aroma, but magnified. The only unpleasant aspect is the alcoholic flavour in the finish, but it’s by no means over powering. The aftertaste is like some sort of weird Polish malted barley buffet. Toasty, bready, caramalty, crisp, insanely drinkable for 7 percent ABV. Nice fuller mouth feel. This is definitely subject to some pretty lame prejudices in many other ratings which gives it its unjustly low score. You guys suck, this is a unassuming gem. drewbeerme (2282), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Lightly sweet aroma. Flavour is well balanced but does lack depth. This beer’s best attribute is it’s quite thick, smooth texture making it really easy to drink. Slightly sweet flavour and clean aftertaste.
