Commercial Description:
It is of a beautiful dark golden colour with a deep lustre. It has the color of honey and the transparency of spring water, as well as an excellent body and taste. It is very well saturated with carbon dioxide and has a pleasant, noble hops bitter, as well as a unique malt-hops taste.

A golden/orange beer, very very short lived head which leaves behind nothing, no lacing, no nothin. Aroma is sweet, with strong notes of caramel. The aroma reflects the flavor in that, it has a very strong caramel flavor, with good malts, but very little bitterness, not the best balanced beer, but I still enjoyed it. The palat is pretty solid, with good carbonation. I could drink a couple of these without getting tired of them, and I’ll probably buy this again. Nothing really special, but still pretty satisfying.

can: BB 12/06. Orange gold with off white head. Pale malt & hops. Medium sweet bread/malty caramel taste. Ok balance between malts & hops. Surprisingly drinkable!

A nice golden amber alger with a quickly dissipating white head. A rather sweet maply aroma, with a bizarre potted meat smell, as noted by probstk. In mouth, sickly sweet concoction, light metallic notes, short bodied (thankfully). Another Euroswill from LCBO.

Drank in a tulip glass. Clear golden poor with an off-white head. Aromas are very hoppy, roasted nuts, caramel and honey. Taste is sweet, candy sugar a twist of maple syrup. Very even mouthfeel, full yet light and creamy. Not overlerly carbonated. This beer doesn’t look nor taste its 7%. Good overall.

Can. Golden amber colour with a small bubbly short lasting white..."head". . Aroma is sweet with toasty caramel, sweet malt and alcohol. Flavour is quite sweet, prunes, toasty malt, and quite fruity. Sweet roasty and fruity long finish. Pretty good for a 7% beer.

This stuff is terrific. Even discounting the high alcohol content, this beer is great. Great color, great caramel finish and very good consistency. There is just a lot to like about this beer.

More yellow than your typical pale lager, this beer is incredibly one dimensional. Smell is sweet like maple syrup with no hop character to speak of. The flavor is much the same as it is surprisingly sweet but muddled and nondescript. The high alcohol content is masked well, but the mouthfeel is thick and almost cloying. Too sticky, but not one of the worst beers I have ever had.

Pleasing amber appearance suffers from zero head retention. Surprisingly for a strong, there’s very little evidence of that characteristic thick, sweet alcohol aroma. Instead, we’re treated to scents of malt, black cherry and grain. The flavour is sugary sweet with a lip-smacking berry fruit appeal and, again, a surprising lack of medicinal alcohol. The label says 7% alc./vol. but I don’t know where they’re hiding it. Seems like a typical 5% to me.
