Commercial Description:
It is of a beautiful dark golden colour with a deep lustre. It has the color of honey and the transparency of spring water, as well as an excellent body and taste. It is very well saturated with carbon dioxide and has a pleasant, noble hops bitter, as well as a unique malt-hops taste.

surprisingly drinkable high octane lager, golden colour, some head, aroma is slightly sweet, some sweet flavours and the alcohol is well hidden

500 mL bottle. Bronze in colour, with virtually no head. Aroma of grain, white grape juice, with maybe a bit of alcohol underneath. Taste is sweet malt, a hint of corn. Not much hops flavour. Fairly heavily carbonated, but still somehow sticky. Sweet finish until the bitter end. Alcohol is only noticeable at the end. Drinkable.

Very sweet with minimal hop bite and little malt / roast dimension. Fairly full and sticky. Lightly coppery golden, short fizzy head that evaporates. Slightly sharp tsng of hop in the nose but no real character in aroma or flavor. Good for plonk.

500 mL bottle from LCBO shared with Ben (formerly of KLB). App.: med. golden, minuscule white head. Aroma: floral hops, cereal, a bit of canned corn, weird burnt/dark stink, canned cat food (seriously...) and beef-veg. soup (uh-oh). Palate: med. body, powdery, med.-low carbonation. Flav.: burnt bread crust, caramel, alcoholic finish, cooked corn, a bit sweet, zero bitterness and a clean finish. 0 for 2 so far...

Aroma gives caramel, toffee lager malts, a little alcohol comes through. Taste is similar, not bad but not really my deal, alcohol is reasonably well hidden.

Bottle, from High Spirits in Cleethorpes. Slightly estery sweet malt in the nose, fruity and full bodied in the mouth with more gentle ester notes and a sticky sweet finish with a touch of bitterness and some retronasal alcohol.

Bottle - 500ml. Dark gold body with heavy carbonation and an average white bubbly head. Boring malty/hoppy aroma with bready and sweet notes. Its one-dimension sweet/malty taste is the same as the one of most boring European strong lagers. It carries some unpleasant alcohol hints and ends with a short bittersweet finish. Useless...

Golden amber with an OK head. The flavour is round and sweetish with hoppy and floral notes. The bitterness is Ok and develops further in the finish.
