Commercial Description:
It is of a beautiful dark golden colour with a deep lustre. It has the color of honey and the transparency of spring water, as well as an excellent body and taste. It is very well saturated with carbon dioxide and has a pleasant, noble hops bitter, as well as a unique malt-hops taste.

500 ml bottle. Golden beer with a thick white head. Sweet pale malt and honey aroma. Aroma is fairly subtle. Flavour of pale malt, light honey, some ethanol. Surprisingly neutral and light for an ESL. As it warms a bit of apple and noble hops come forward. Fairly clean tasting with light bitterness.

The flavour is a little sweet and the aroma as well. Although it can be sensed the strong part in it, it is not exaclty dark, but it is not clear either.

A harsh brew, dark pour, little head, tasted corny, metallic, heavy on the tongue. Drinkable, but nothing to write home about, uggh.

50 cl bottle, ’bbe’ Dec 08. Clear amber with a massive white froth. Nose of hop and red fruit jam. Rather sweet, full bodied with a pepperminty hop finish. Reminds a bit of Palm Dobbel.

Medium white head which quickly shrinks into a thin white ring. Light brown body. Grainy caramel aroma with butter notes. Sweet, deep caramel taste with toffee and butter notes. Some butter in mouthfeel. Empty aftertaste, but sweetish spicy taste lingers. Not very exciting, but OK.
