I’m a bit stressed from studying all day and am taking a break to reward myself with... a European strong lager? Actually, not that bad. It pours a golden-orange color with a two-fingered, creamy head that actually lingers for a while. The aroma is vinuous, sweet and grainy, with a strong alcohol undercurrent. The flavor is a peppery, sweet malt with an herbal hop bitterness that turns kind of metallic in the finish. Quite drinkable.

As for the taste, this stuff is so sweet as if some guy dropped sugarcubes into it. Almost no malt can be felt, some cream coffee flavour improves the impression. Must be nauseous after 3 or 4 bottles. Doesn’t taste like a lager, even a strong one. Quite OK, could’ve been much better with the coffee flavour if it hadn’t been do damn sweet. oh6gdx (8839), Vasa, Finland

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 14, 2005 Light copper/ orange in colour with a fair bit of carbonation. Aromas are of ripe soft fruit, caramel, menthol, and a bit of alcohol. Medium bodied lager type of mouthfeel with this one. Strong malt presence with at least some herbal hop contribution. I was expecting bad things from this beer, but it’s not too bad at all (although not really my style). It would probably go over well with the malt liquor crowd.
