Fairly rich on the nose, of malt and hops, and fairly sweet on the palate, with well blended alcohol and balanced with notes of caramel and toffee. Low carbonation, but not suffereing for it. A decent bottle. gerzm22 (107), , Florida, USA

Its sweet flavor was not really what i look for in beers but it was pretty good. overall i purchased a 500ml for $1.50 which is a fair price. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 19, 2008 clear amber, minor white head that doesn’t linger, some lacing. nose of sweet malt, corn syrup. sweet grain/corn in the flavor with floral malts and a slight hoppiness. medium bodied, dry, bitter finish. a tad too sweet in flavor, but still an enjoyable brew. perhaps i am just too forgiving of eastern european beers, probably based on my years working for the CIA behind the iron curtain. but i may have said too much already....you can get single bottles featuring the portrait of kazimierz pulaski @ "binny’s beverage depot" in orland park. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA

Roasted malty aroma, with a little bit of lager type sweetness. Sweet and bready up front. Some roastiness. Taste reminds me of a bock, rather than a ESL. Enjoyable. rodenbach99 (708), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada

Has a sweet/sticky mouthfeel, as others seem to mention a lot. JonnyDr (132), , South Yorkshire, England
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Golden pour with transient frothy head. Malt and grain give way to honey, water and alcohol. Very thin and hollow. gwpom (253), Akron, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 26, 2008 12 oz. This years batch doesn’t have "Strong" on the label, but it’s 7.0% so it appears to be the same beer. Amber color, thin white head. It’s got a rough and smooth taste to it, which I know is contradictory, but still that’s what it feels like. The flavor isn’t bad, smooth and drinkable, but it leaves kinda a rough edge to it after the fact. Don’t know if I’d rate it this low, but I also probably won’t go back here.
