Comments: Not a bad beer, but a bit too smooth for me. A long aftertaste, and darkens in flavor over time, which is redeeming, but not by much.
I liked: The overall flavor. The color was nice. The aftertaste is very enjoyable.
I did not like: The cloying sweetness, the complete lack of head, and the simplicity of the components. yngwie (5038), Kristiansand, Norway
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Can. Pours a golden, clear body with a white head. Hay, grain, malty sweetness and a whiff of canned pears in the aroma. Not foul, just boring. The flavor on the other hand, isn’t just good, there’s a alcohol touch to it that is rather uncomfortable, as well as grain and grass. Some fruityness and bitterness too. Thin in the mouth, and lightly fruity and bitter finish. Not a beer you would like to repeat. (080312) SilkTork (4189), Rochester, Kent, England

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Typical looking lager/pilsener. Smells a bit chemically. Texture is ok, not too gassy, fairly smooth. Flavour is a bit sweet but not dominating. Unfortunately the aftertaste is a bit tongue numbing. Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head that fades to a ring. There is a presence of noble hops in the aroma behind a light grainy, grassy nose with some weak caramel sweetness. The flavour is sweet like corn syrup with some grassy hops and a very sweet malt finish. There is a lack of hop bitterness and finish is like sweet cereal grains and refined sugar. Ugh. The palate is syrupy and slick with a not-so-dry finish. emerica56 (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Pours a thin head with a clear amber color. the aroma is very distinct in that you cna really smell the hops, and hint of lemon. There is creamy bitterness on the tip of your tounge. the aftertaste is a bit bready and grainy. It does have smooth texture for the ammount of carbonation that is in it. Not too pleased with the finish dry leaving my feeling nasty with hints of that bread in the back of my mouth. kmeves (1081), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma is corn and malt with some subtle hoppy notes. Flavor carries some corny and bready notes and finishes moderately dry. Light bodied, slick texture. Big carbonation. skortila (2914), Bunnik, Netherlands
