Appearance: Pours a light yellow body as clear as the bottle that housed it. Topped with a smattering of white suds. Smell: Lightly grainy, lightly sweetish nose punctuated by some skunky notes. Taste: Sweet grains given an added bonus dusting of powdered sugar. Mercifully, there’s only a touch of skunkiness from these clear bottles. No apparent hop flavor, but you are treated to a very low hint of bitterness. Still finishes sweet though. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Unenjoyable and unrewarding. It’s blandly sweet with nothing else to offer. Whisper sweet nothings into my ear, but don’t pour’m down my throat, please.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow golden with a small frothy white head leaving decent spotty lacing. The aroma is a skunky corn malt. Thin mouthfeel with a skunky light corn malt flavor and metallic finish. Hard to put down nothing going on with this one. Why would anyone use this weird green in a clear bottle, almost to say stay clear of this beer.

Faint, oat powder/dry malt aroma. I don’t often give out 1’s for appearance, but in this case, the beer is an almost green tinge in a clear bottle, with a mod to the usual Warsteiner label that looked like it was slapped on by a pimp graphic designer. Yeck - tastes distinctly watered down. Dry, seltzer-y. Thin mouth. You’ve really got to want a beer and have no other options to drink this.

Sweet grassy and subtle spicy hop nose. Light lemon yellow color and medium light foamy head. Almost a complete lack of sweetness or malt flavors to speak of, almost the same as with the bitterness, it is slightly beer flavored soda water. Big carbonation, light body, finish was surprisingly bright and almost leaves the taste of a normal lighter beer long after? Not knocking this for what it is, but there are better versions of this type of ultra light beer out there.

I luckily had this at a beer tasting and didn’t have to drink an entire bottle. This, along with the other various newish flavored Warsteiners, is absolutely awful.

12oz bottle 7/6/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a light clear golden body with a full loose white head. Aroma of skunk and more skunk. Taste of grass and nothing. This light bodied brew is nothing but water with skunk added.

This sparkly yellow beer poured with a rich white head that bubbled away in a couple minutes. Aroma of straw and fresh skunk - unclemattie, you took the words right out of my mouth. I’m not sure why the brewer asserts "full flavor," since there isn’t much. Ok on a hot day if there is nothing else available.

330ml clear bottle. Extra mild. Only 87 calories. Clear golden color, thin white head. Light aroma of straw and fresh skunk. Flavor of water with a nice fizz. Finishes with the notes of the rinse water from a mash tun. Where’s the flavor? with the calories!
