Bottle, Plano Beverage in Plano, TX. Pours a very light yellow with a nice frothy white head with very good retention. Aroma was somewhat skunky, but had obvious malt. Flavor is malty with very nice use of hops. Palate is very light, high carbonation. Over all, I am rating this as a light beer....the is THE BEST light beer I have had to date....Actual malt and hop flavor. I am impressed...

Pours a clear lemon yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is fairly light hops, standard for a light beer. Flavor is hops with a floral undertone with mild sweetness as well. Body is light with medium carbonation.

When I was on a plane back from Europe (Lufthansa) I had a few bottles of this. The Germans just role their eyes at the Americans who actually like it. I was a bit inexperienced at the time so I didn’t know better. I actually still think it’s a decent brew compared to American macros at least. It ranks near the bottom of Germany’s extensive beer list, but not a bad brew in general, and it tastes quite good after being stuck with Mythos in Greece for three weeks.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, clear fully golden with a dense and lasting off-white head. Lovely aroma hops in the nose, but then all is pretty much said. The body is thin and watery with only a vague malt feel. Also the finish is thin and sloppy. 261106

The aroma is watery and slightly sweet with a hint of latex. The appearance is light pale gold with a small head. The flavor is sweet and malty with a hint of bitterness but it’s mostly watery. The palate is like water. This is basically a beer flavored water but very refreshing and easy to drink. As a low calorie beer it’s better than the competition.

Tallahassee, Fl., Publix Supermarket - 11.2 oz bottle. Pours an almost clear light golden with a little bit of bubble action and a thin bubbly white head. Aroma has a bit of a wort-like essence to it with some peppery notes as well. Flavor has a hint of corniness with some honey-like sweetness on the back end. As most low-carb low cal entries - this one has a bit of a harsh mouthfeel that leaves me a bit breathless. Just a tad better than expected.

Bottle.
Pours like carbonated diluted lemonade with an aroma of corn and water, with light sprinkling of lemon peel. Taste is light chaimomile tea with a slight floral finish. Watery mouthfeel. Probably the best low-cal beer I’ve had.

Appearance: Pours a light yellow body as clear as the bottle that housed it. Topped with a smattering of white suds. Smell: Lightly grainy, lightly sweetish nose punctuated by some skunky notes. Taste: Sweet grains given an added bonus dusting of powdered sugar. Mercifully, there’s only a touch of skunkiness from these clear bottles. No apparent hop flavor, but you are treated to a very low hint of bitterness. Still finishes sweet though. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Unenjoyable and unrewarding. It’s blandly sweet with nothing else to offer. Whisper sweet nothings into my ear, but don’t pour’m down my throat, please.
