| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Draught. Golden in color with a thin creamy head. Very light for the style. Malty, grainy melanoidian aroma. LIghtly sweet and malty with honey and caramel flavors. Rather fruity a carboard note. This is a very thin and watery example of the style but this keg also seems old. mddawso (89), Normal, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 31, 2006 Tap- Definitly not a fan of this brew. Pours a nice deep amber color. Fruity aroma with overbearing fruity taste. I love the Marzen style but this was shameful. HistoryGeek (17), California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 22, 2006 An excellent oktoberfest, though I like Sam Adam’s better. Has a malty flavor to it, and definately a strong choice of beer. Sammy (4070), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 20, 2006 On tap a pint at Pizza Plant. Fresh with abundant lace and white head, apple juice appearance of body. Taste is a bit complex, with fruity toasty nutty malty character. Nothing tremendous. Fizzy carbonation detracted. Ayinger was superior vertical on Octoberfest.
