A malt forward lager that does a good job of representing the Marzen catagory. The hops come on nice and spicy for the finnish.

Pours an amberish brown with a off white head. The aroma is malty and the flavor has a nice toasty note with a slight bitterness at the finish.

On tap @ Brew Kettle 9/22/06: Light orangey brown w/ a lasting off white head! Very highly toasted malt aroma at first, very clean overall, and malty in the nose throughout. Well balanced overall, clean, toasty malt flavor, aftertaste is toasty malt, and just a hint of bitterness creeps in to the dry finish, but nothing that hits you until half way through the glass. Lighter medium body, medium high carbonation, smooth. A well made O-fest, but not my favorite!

A really great beer. It really hit the palate during the Oktoberfest tour. I would have it again if offered

Draft. Clear dark amber with a small white head that diminished quickly. Good sweet malt aroma. Medium body with thin texture. Moderate malty flavor with a medium finish.

Dark yellowy with a white head. Nose is a bit of caramel and grain. Taste favors the malts. Not a bad ’fest, but not great either.

On tap at the local Old Chicago. Poured with a dark gold body that has a hint or orange. The thin head was white. The arom ahad nice caramel and some leaves. There was also some almonds. The taste had toasted caramel and some leaves. The taste also had caramel and some sharp copper in the finish. A fairly dry brew.
