Light yellow pour, little visual resemblance to a marzen. Pretty poor Rustyham (565), miami, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Oct 19, 2009 Thick, syrupy maltiness adds some good palateness to this beer, but the flavor is not as sweet or bready as would otherwise make me happy. I’ve had better oktoberfests at much better prices. $4 a cup at a really lame oktoberfest in Miami, Florida. michael-pollack (2718), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of grains. Poured pale yellow/amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of sweet malts, light nuts, and slight hops. Light to medium body. Thin, chalky texture. Average carbonation. Sweet malt and slight nut finish is chalky. angrypirate06 (781), Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 16, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden pour with a white head that fades quickly. Aroma is corn, honey, banana, watermelon. Flavor is dust, corn, off sweetness, and grains. Sorry about this one, bman1113vr. (A tick is a tick). | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2009 Bottle from angrypirate06. Pours with a very pale golden body with a small white head. Too light in hue for even a domestic German Marzen. Aroma is grainy and a bit corn like (reinheitsgebot?), toasty with light metallic notes and a sweetness. Taste is grainy and finishes dry but with some odd and inappropriate fruit esters in the finish. Thin and dry. Not really good. Bonster (106), Jersey Shore, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 13, 2009 Liter draft at Old Bay. Amber with plenty of fine-bubbled carbonation and a nice white head. Smells of grain husks, caramel malt, and some floral hops...reminds me of a Euor Pils meets Oktoberfest. Strong grain flavor with a little malt, most memorable was the harsh twang at the end. pumpmaster (480), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 2, 2009 Comes out of the tap a clear amber with a decent white head. Aroma is strong, crisp, malty and slightly fruity, mainly banana. Flavor is malty and crisp with a firm undertone of banana and just a hint of caramel. Texture is smooth and only slightly fizzy, rather pleasing.
