Bottle. Poured an amber color with a little white head. Some lacing was left behind. Aroma was bread, yeast, malts, and caramel. Flavor was some bitters, skunk, and malts. Medium body. Nothing special decent beer.

Bottle 12 oz. Nice light amber color. Quite carbonated with some head and slight lacing. Malty nose, with some citrusy accent. Flavors of malt and sweetness. Slightly bitter finish. A decent Marzen.

.5L draft during the long session of darts last night at the local with R-Dog. this a bit more malty than the normal warsteiner but a creamy light bodied octoberfest certainly affected my precision in darts. Sweet malty nose and a nice thich head. It would have been better with accordion and tuba melodies. I thought it could have benn a bit deeper color instead of the paleish amber. Meh.

Brewed in Germany.......Pours a copper color with a thin white head. Aroma of grains, yeast, malts and some floral notes. Taste is much of the same !!! The mouthfeel is kind of sweet at first but finishes on the dry side. Overall, not bad, pretty drinkable.

10/4/08 On draught at Leavenworth Oktoberfest, Leavenworth, Wa. Aroma is sour with a strong caramel character. Appearance is clear gold with a moderate maintained white head . Flavor is sweet malt forward, again a bit sour, with a slight roasty finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a light carb texture. Overall, an authentic but light marzen.

Bottle. Pours orange, copper, with a small white-slightly fizzy head. Aroma is malty with caramel, toasted grains. Flavor is similar, with a moderately sweet finish. Forgettable but not disgusting.

"S5L2F3T4O9 Waryfest: Looks and smells rather decent, nothing offensive in the bouquet. Perhaps the ol’ shnoz does detect some blast furnace slag down in there. Taste is initially a little tangy bitter then it milds out to a medicine like sweetness that grows on ya. Has much more personality than I was expecting for this beer. It certainly is not a lade-back beer by any means. Very good carbonation and bubbliness, which is welcome. Has a weird lager hop or malty bitterness that just keeps hangen around on the finish. Session was different for a change. "
