Draft at Ballydoyle (Downer’s Grove) in a mug with a whole inch above the .5 L plimsoll. Still a bit of original Märzen in this import. Amber color, clear with a thin line of foam. Malty smell with a bit of lager yeast still there. A good, hearty malt taste works its way down very smoothly Satisfying and filling.

Had on tap at Stoney Point in Mokena, IL. Pours clear golden amber with weak head. Aroma is caramel and malts. Flavor is malty with caramel and a little hops. Easy drinker that is a little watery. Could be a little thinker and richer.

Moderate bronze with full, powdery head. Hint of malt ball and some dank German hops. Flavor is of dank malt and hops. A touch of burnt caramel. Strong German lager characteristics, with mildly developed malting. Easy drinking and with a tad more flavor than many of the macro-brew types. Ok, but rather thin on the palate.

malty after-taste, warmth of alcohol, good to try this brand again, a slightly bitter after-taste, from the bottle

Nice amber-golden color, nice thick white head (on tap in a 1-liter boot). Good Oktoberfest beer. Smooth palate, nice malty aftertaste. The smell is a nice balance of hops and malt.

Pours a clean/clear golden yellow color, nice carbonation, one-finger creamy white head, with some sticky lacing to follow. The nose is malty, with some spices. The taste is malty, sweet, and some spice. Medium body. Drinkable, not too bad.

Bottle 330 ml
Appearance: clear straight amber gold look yet with impressive large creamy top. 4-
Nose: malty, grainy aroma with slight sourness.5+
Flavor/Palate : Much cleaner, softer almost silky smooth feel. High quality malt approach, soft well rounded with slight yet noticeable bitter feel at finish. Good session brew.
