| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Pours a beautiful sparkling orange color with billowing white head. Sweet, citrusy aromas with hints of orange blossom, spicy hops, and yeasty dough. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Sweat malty taste that gives way to well balanced hop bitterness. Finish is long and warming with hints of brown bread, caramel, and clove. Try with grilled German chicken, weinerschnitzel, or German sausage. marcus (1868), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 29, 2008 This amber beer poured with a thick fluffy off-white head and a yeasty aroma. The flavor is creamy caramel malt with a floral finish. Drinkable but not remarkable. Swalden28 (1510), McKinney, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 28, 2008 Updated: Sep 30, 2008Bottle from Market Street in McKInney, TX. Pours gold, very faint orange hue, white head that faded quickly. Aroma of malt and hops. Flavor is lightly sweet malt and hoppy, some hop bitter. Mouthfeel is light with high carbonation. Overall, it is a dissapointment for a Marzen, just subtle hints of the style, Im not very happy I purchased a 12 pack of this, I paid too much.....Overall, it tastes like a basic German lager. Not much of an attempt for a Oktoberfest. bhensonb (4285), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/20 | Sep 28, 2008 Bottle from BevMo. Orange tinged gold color with a huge white head. Fresh veg aroma. Not bad, just not beer. Rather light body with very mild carbonation. Flavor is really sweet malt with some sort of herb/veg flavor. Maybe even a hint of mint. It’s incredibly unusual, and somewhere there’s a beer drinker who would love this. It’s just not me. Finish is rather clean, but grainy. The aroma, appearance, flavor and palate aren’t that bad. Despite that, I just don’t enjoy it. DP. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 27, 2008 A dark golden apperance with a large soapy head. The aroma contains some lemons, corn and some strange cooked vegetable deal in there. The flavor contains some maltiness, cooked corn, lemons and more off flavors. Lots of diacetyl present in this beer. Beginning to end this beer sucks. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
