From a bottle--Poured a dark brown body with a frothy off-white head. Faint malty grain aroma with a small hoppy spice. Very smooth with hints of chocolate and sweet biscuits. Nothing stands out about this beer, but sometimes you just want a mild dark brew like this.

If I had to drink one beer for the rest of my life, it would not be this one. Not to say its bad, I enjoyed this beer, but theres not too much to say about it honestly.

[1569-20080803] 500mL can. Tar-like dark malt aroma. Clear, dark dark brown body with quick bubbles. Mild malty grains flavour. Medium-full body. Drinkable and mildly boring.

Thick, creamy tan head that was slow to settle and left some nice looking lacing. Very dark brown. An extremely faint, almost rusty aroma- not very attractive at all. Smooth, slightly malty flavor with a noticeably bitter finish and medium mouthfeel, but not very bold. A nice looking beer, but not a very good beer. And far too light for a dunkel.

Pours dark brown with a frothy tan head that quickly dissappears. Really looks like a glass of cola. Aroma of caramel and roasted malts. Rather thin body almost watery. Sligtly biitter finish. Drinkable but not exceptional.
