it poured dark red with a little head. aroma is just a little bit of dark smell, warm malty, kind of weak. the taste is like a little chocolate, malt, very nice slight sweetness level, and walnuts. tastes smooth and creamy with a dry finish. this one is nice and at the very back of the taste it still has that warsteiner yeast taste.. hahah i love warsteiner, this was very affordable and definitely worth it

Aroma is must and a little sweetness from the malts. Flavor is full on Dunkel - seems like a pretty standard representation of the style. Notes of nuttiness, wood and a little smoke. Very light in the hop department - but still a nice dry finish. Pours auburn/brown with white head.

11.2 oz bottle from home reserve, gift six. Poured a clear, brown/walnut color, with an off white, bubbly head that diminished to a small ring pretty fast, leaving some light lace. Malty and sweet nose with a little toast, bread, nuts, and caramel. The taste is as mellow as the aroma, with mild caramel, toast and nutty notes. Just some light hop bitterness. It is what it is. Light bodied and quaffable. Okay.

Nutty start, slightly roasted, light and smooth, but alcohol appears unbalanced, beer ends with a water finish.

500 ml can, LCBO. Pours copper brown. Straight up grainy aroma. Malty flavour with a touch of bitterness in the end. Pretty decent.
