Appearance: Pours a clear, dark brown body with a thin, fizzy, but still slightly creamy off-white head.
Smell: Pale malts in the nose with supporting notes of spicy hops, stale nuts, and a very light vinous fruitiness.
Taste: Pale maltiness with light tastes of nutty molasses and honey. Very minor hints of apple and cherry fruitiness. Faint spicy hops and bitterness. A touch sour at times. Finishes relatively crisp.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation, though it’s a bit fizzy.
Drinkability: Never immensely flavorful or exciting, but it is quite drinkable, I’ll give it that much. jeremytoni (1081), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 30, 2008 The only reason I bought this is cuz Beer magazine called this the beer of the month. Obviously they wuz smokin crack.
This has a cross between a very mild chocolate malt and hints of skunk aroma. It is watery as hell and was almost drain pour.
Avoid at all costs. I’ll have to try to pawn these off to people I work with. freekyp (900), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA

Faint malty grain aroma with a small hoppy spice. Very smooth with hints of chocolate and sweet biscuits. Nothing stands out about this beer, but sometimes you just want a mild dark brew like this.
