May 7, 2008 Congratulations to be a drinker of the Anheuser Buschs’, of Germany, Warsteiner’s, pour, not poor, excuse to a dunkel, which is actually their shitty pale lager now with darker color! Dark brown 1 inch tan head, medium malt aroma with sugar, and corn present. Empty bubble crap foam. Water mouthfeel. Lager sugar, corn taste, crap! Drink a beast light instead and save money. The name, VaarSchteiner, not Warsteiner, has nothing to do with quality brewing, and everything to do with mass production and profiteering. Yeah, yardpour people! Stop rating beer based on name people and start rating it on quality and tate. Any beer that has corn in it, and you can go fuck yourself!.

May 6, 2008 One of my favourites. Its easy drinking with a crisp gold appearance. Absolutely delightful and refreshing. Highly recomended amazing German beer.

May 4, 2008 This was a good beer. It had all the fresh and uniquely German qualities of their regular beer, but a nice rich maltyness that made this my favorite of the two. Smooth tast, hints of tofee a satisfying but not hoppy biterness. All in All a good drink.

May 4, 2008 Pours a dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma is mainly malt. Flavor is mainly roasted malts with very litte hops. Not bad.

May 4, 2008 A dark brown, almost cola brown, definitely inviting. Aroma is strongly malty with a hint of caramel. Flavor is well-rounded, not complex but delicious and satisfying, malty with just a hint of hops and a whisper of sweetness. Rather smooth and pleasant.

May 1, 2008 I was genuinely surprised by this beer. I am familiar with the Warsteiner name but had never tried this particular brew. This one is great. Pours a nice dark dark brown with an above average sized white head. The aroma has a faint hint of caramel and a natural nuttiness. The flavor is wonderfully bold. I wasn’t expecting much from this, so perhaps that is why my opinion of this is much higher than anyone else’s. Overall a great beer especially compared to other beers in its class.
