The aroma is somewhat sweet with hints of malts. The flavor is small but enjoyable, a little bit of dark chocolate and a little bitter, just a tad. Definilty on the lighter side of dunkels.

Picked up a case of mini’s at Sams’s club last fall. Didn’t realize it was a dunkel. Now I have to find out what a dunkel is. Nice dark color, went down smooth watching Germany v Spain in the Euro’s with some Brats.

Bottle. I didn’t think this was very good at all, I’m actually surprised the ratings are so high. Not much flavor in it. No real hops, no fruitiness...just grain and wheat for me. Not really a fan.

Bottle onboard Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Malta. Light yellow color and a rather faint odor of malt with a little yeast in the background. Easy to drink with a typical taste of bread. Not that bitter, a little bit boring.

(bottle). Clear dark brown/ruby color. Medium off white head. Light malt aroma. Light sweet malt (caramel/molasses) flavor. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing.

Dark brown pour with a decent tan head that recedes to a bubbly ring. Aroma is roast malts and caramel. Taste is fairly bland, malts and very bready. Hint of caramel in the taste. Mouthfeel is creamy and spritzy all at once, but somehow I feel like something’s missing. Just OK to me.

Dark amber color with light tan head. Aroma of caramel, honey and banana, quite light but still there and pleasant. Lightly carbonated. Bready caramel malt flavor. Some wheat, or other grain, pokes through with spices interwoven. Clean finish.

Deep clear brown pour with light tan head. Nose is moderately roasted caramel/toffee malt. The light spritzy mouthfeel reveals fairly decentcaramel and toffee malt sweetness and some light hop bite in the finish. Refreshing enough.
