Dec 1, 2007 330 mL bottle. Dark mahogany brown with absolutely no head. None. Sweetish caramel malty aroma. Taste is quite malty, and there may be a little malt in there. Very mild on the hops. Medium to thin body. Disappointing.

Dec 1, 2007 Bottle. Pours a brown with a hue of red with fizzy head that was tan. Flavor was thin and watery with a light sweetness, maybe brown sugar. Palate was a bit to sharp with nothing to balance it out.

Nov 26, 2007 A good but not great Dunkel. Color was a solid deep reddish brown... but very little head. Aroma was OK... a bit too smoky for me. Taste was somewhat bland. An OK beer. I wouldn’t buy it again

Nov 25, 2007 On tap on a stall at The German Christmas Market in Birmingham. Dark brown to black with cream fizzed head. Boy did I have to search around this market to find something worth drinking, this was slightly thin and sweetish, but did have a sharp fruitiness that rescued the score. Blooming expensive though, I headed directly back to the pubs after this.

Nov 22, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a brown color with a fizzy head. Light malty aroma. Taste is of light caramel and toffee. A hint of nut as well. Thin mouthfeel. I am a fan of the style, but not really this one.

Nov 21, 2007 This wasn’t bad. My dad bought a 6 pack for me and we drank some. It was rather enjoyable especially with the food selection. It was some sort of grilled chicken if I remember.

Nov 18, 2007 Pours a deep dark brown. Cola color Quickly the tan foamy head disapears.Aroma of nuts and malt. Taste is a little watery. Nutty and very carbinated.
