| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Beer pours a brown ale color with notes of malt on the nose. It gives you a clean flavor with some stornger notes of hops but yet drinks quite clean. brunowbe (8), Ohio, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 27, 2007 Not quite as strong or bitter tasting as I thought it would be, especially for a darker beer. Although a good beer, I’m not sure it merits the almost 10 dollars per 6 bottles (for some reason the 12 pack is only a couple of bucks more, but hard to find). Overall a tasty delight. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Pours out like flat coca cola with no head. araom was somewhat malty and a little sweet. flavor was extremly thin. I was very disappointed in this brew. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 23, 2007 draft: clear reddish brown, not much for any retention. Aroma is nutty with notes of caramel. Somewhat sweet finish with a light body. Clean tasting, but lacks any real complexity. biggenius29 (155), Hamilton, Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 22, 2007 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours amber with a average fizzy white head, which lasts for most of the beer but leaves no lacing. The aroma is light with slight caramel notes. The flavor is of light molasses and of caramel. There is also a very slight hint of oak and slight butterscotch. The body is light to medium with a watery texture and lively carbonation. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Pours a reddish brown with a 1 finger head that forms extremely quickly and falls almost just as fast. The nose almost is like mild cedar. The taste is too quick though and doesn’t linger at all, leaving barely anything for you to remember it by. Everything leading up to that was promising, but the flavor to me is a let down. charcot25 (181), Cordova, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Pours a clear dark reddish-brown with a rapidly diminishing head. Aroma is muted with only a faint maltiness and typical DMS. Taste is clean and suprisingly light with a mild roasty character. Finishes just as clean. Well, it’s better than their other lager. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2007 Updated: Jun 22, 2007330ML oz bottle via Roth’s. Pours a clear DARK REDDISH BROWN WITH A LARGE BEIGE HEAD that quickly recedes to nothing...talking about going limp quick..it is the minutemen of beer here. Nose is malty with some toasted grains. Taste starts with some semi-sweet caramel, then some toasted graininess, a little chocolate, some mild hops, and a semi-sweet finish. Body is light/medium. Carbonation is medium. A non-offensive non-memorable backyard beer.
