| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2007 Bottle. Light grain and dark malt with some nuttiness in the nose. Pours amber with a brownish tinge and a soapy, fizzly tanned head. Sweetish taste with nuttiness, light chocolate and a good dose of caramel - a lot like a candy bar. Faint sourness doesn’t serve this well but does match the light graininess, and the overall blend is fine. Touch of herb. Pleasant/lightly crisp mf. Medium-full, malty body and a good enough reason to break out the Warsteiner glass. :) Really, a decent mass-produced, I wouldn’t turn down another. wcampbell (576), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 28, 2007 Pretty good. A little too sweet though. Lightly roasted all malt profile. Low carbonation and very drinkable. It does not have much of an aroma. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 26, 2007 Bottle. The aroma is sweet and toasted malt, black color with a thin beige head, flavor is good like toasted malt and some caramel or something else sweety, little too bitter.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2007 This beer pours a cola color with a light head that didn’t last long. Aroma is thin but has both malt and hops. Mouth feel is thin but clean. The beer itself is pretty straight forward. It is mostly malty with some nuttiness and hop undertones. Like so many macro brewed beers this one seems to be more concerned with having no negative aspects than it is with having positives. NicerInPerson (337), North of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 14, 2007 The aroma was nutty and lightly spicy from hops with a light chocolate characteristic and a clean nose. Malt was most prevalent, like a light milk chocolate. The beer poured into the glass crystal clear amber brown with a lasting tight bubble nearly white head which laced the glass. The flavor began on the palate malty and nutty and quickly dried to light chocolate and a very light spicy hop flavor. The flavor was toasty and nicely bittered to offset the malt. The finish was dry with just light lasting impressions of the malts and bittering hops into the aftertaste. The body was medium and the carbonation was moderate. A nice dunkel, very easy to consume, could use more malt, but still a solid brew! 12 ounce bottle. tiggmtl (4310), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2007 Nutty and malty aroma is quite sweet. Clear chestnut brown coloured body is topped by a low cream coloured head that recedes rapidly to a thin partial cover and ring. Nutty and sweet malts with light bitterness. Never cloying or sticky but tasty and refreshing. Light medium body with strong effervescence that stimulates the tip of the tongue. Tulip glass. Allowed to warm from fridge temperature.
