Sep 1, 2009 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown with a large quickly vanishing off white head. It has a faint aroma of chocolate. Tastes of toffee, cookie and caramel with a hint of chocolate. I thought this was a pretty good but not great beer.

Aug 30, 2009 12oz bottle 8/30/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours dark brown iwth some amber tints and a small off white head. Aroma of nothing. Taste of malt. This light bodied is almost as bad as their basic beer. Unimpressed but still decent to drink.

Aug 10, 2009 I really like this beer. Had in a 0.5 L can unfortunately, but none the less, this is a very tasty beer. Pour is dark brown with a thin white head. Aroma of nuts, roasted malts and caramel. Taste is overly malty and a hint of caramel nuttiness. Palate is moderate. Overall pretty good but not incredible.
