Aromas of floral hops, herbs, citrus, grass yeast, and alcohol. Flavor is bright, crisp and clean, with complex undertones of grain, citrus, noble hops and fruit. Nice dry finish. Was a perfect complement to my Christmas duck. BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA

Dark semi bitter malts. mostly caramel with a metallic sort of reflection. Not too good on the dunkle tip. Kinda like cookie tasting but not quite cookie dough. Its an easy drinker, not bad...but not great. ryan (1775), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2005 Bottled. Very light, malty aroma of chocolate chip cookies (bready with a hint of chocolate) and a bit of rusted metal and then finally some caramel. Dark cherry wood in color with a thin, white head that dissipates except for a ring around the edge of the glass. Thin, metallic flavor with a touch of grassy, skunked hops. I let this warm up for an hour and it still just doesn’t taste that great. Not as metallic and more caramel as it warms, but still not complex. Watery texture with a thin, crisp finish. I woudln’t turn down another, but I wouldn’t seek it out either. It just didnt’ have enough complexity to it to keep my interest. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2005 Bottle at Maker’s, OKC: poured dark brown with a small off white head. Another beer served too cold in Oklahoma. But that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. After warming up, lightly roasted malt and hops became apparent in the aroma. Mild malts in the flavor with a short sweetness. Lightly roasty. A pretty decent beer.
