Aug 27, 2005 If you like bitter beers, this is not quite what you’re looking for. This beer is very smooth and flavorful (chocolate and a bit nutty). I had it at the local bar and decided to buy a 6-pack later in the week. It’s not bad (regardless of what its overall percentile tells you. Try it out.

Aug 20, 2005 Updated: May 2, 2006Good walnut color, alcoholic and caramel aroma. No hoppiness in the smell. Faint hop taste, very nutty and malty. Overly alcholic taste with hint of banana. Overrated, generally.

Aug 7, 2005 Bottled. Pours a dark brown color. Light roasted malt aroms. A hint of some sourness as well. Light, somewhat watered down flavor. Drinkable, but not great.

Jul 28, 2005 A nice brown with a light brown head. A malty aroma with a hint of hops. Starts of with a hoppy bitterness and finishes with a malty sweetness.

Jul 24, 2005 Pours medium brown with a good beige head. Malty and a little nutty in both the aroma and flavor. Lightly hopped, medium carbonated, and pretty drinkable.
