The light palate contrasts with this beers dark brown colour. Not a let down, but nothing specatacular. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Canned sample. Cola coloured, with medium carbonation. Aromas of minerals, stale malts, and a bit of lemon. Flavors are of whole wheat toast, a bit of roasted malt, and a bit of red apple. Farily dry finishing, albeit somewhat chemical-like. Not nearly roasty or flavorful enough. ehhdayton (1113), USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 8, 2008 About as watery as a beer gets. Pretty much all malt, if you can call it that, cuz there’s hardly any malt in there. Light as hell, transparent even though it’s a dunkel. NobleSquirrel (1110), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Pours a clear DARK REDDISH BROWN WITH A LARGE BEIGE HEAD that quickly recedes to nothing...talking about going limp quick..it is the minutemen of beer here. Nose is malty with some toasted grains. Taste starts with some semi-sweet caramel, then some toasted graininess, a little chocolate, some mild hops, and a semi-sweet finish. Body is light/medium. Carbonation is medium. A non-offensive non-memorable backyard beer.
