Pours a clear DARK REDDISH BROWN WITH A LARGE BEIGE HEAD that quickly recedes to nothing...talking about going limp quick..it is the minutemen of beer here. Nose is malty with some toasted grains. Taste starts with some semi-sweet caramel, then some toasted graininess, a little chocolate, some mild hops, and a semi-sweet finish. Body is light/medium. Carbonation is medium. A non-offensive non-memorable backyard beer. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Beer looks like a glass of black coffee with a tan head..by "black coffee" i dont really mean completely black..but a mahogany brown colour.
Smell was quite subdued..slight chocolaty style malts but not much.
Very thin and watery tatslessness..poor carbonation..flat horrid.
Thin and wat too watery on the tongue.
Not very drinkable at all..i wonder if there was some problem with the keg?

Just like this beer. But maybe I’m just an scumbag. BREWMUSKCLES (1084), New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2007 this is quite an acceptable brew indeed. it has a decently sweet toffee taste. it has acceptable body and is refreshing. the carbonation is good - foamy yet bubbly. the beer has a rye/barley quality that is simple honest and also carries a fruit type essence. the finish is is slightly bitter and flavorful (though a bit watery). extra point for being simple yet good! this beer is quite a looker deep brown with orange and red highlights. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
