Plain brown beer that looks closer to weak coke, large foam-up and a death just as quick - odd pink??? Must be the lights in here today. Dusty smelling malts, caramel and darker fruit, very mild tobacco and an odd stink. The taste is a touch sour, tonic wwater like, some carbonation and off flavoured biscuity malts. Dry, light bodied beer with no finish. A total waste of money. troopie (909), USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 18, 2006 Pours deep, dark brown with a toamy tan head. Unique aromas of kidney beans and southwest seasonings. Flavor was nice... a clean, sweet caramel malt with a barely noticeable bitterness on the backend of the pull. Almost reminded me of a sweet nut-brown ale. Everything comes together nicely, with mildly sweet aftereffects mingling around with a light astringency, bitterness growing in the finish. A nice medium-caramel mouthfeel accompanies the whole experience, and trust me, the experience begs another! Very well-balanced brew. eboats (901), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Has some caramel taste to it as well as cookie dough. A little nuttiness and some chocolate. All the flavors are subtle and sweet. Very smooth, could use more body.
