Poured a clear, brown/walnut color, with an off white, bubbly head that diminished to a small ring pretty fast, leaving some light lace. Malty and sweet nose with a little toast, bread, nuts, and caramel. The taste is as mellow as the aroma, with mild caramel, toast and nutty notes. Just some light hop bitterness. It is what it is. Light bodied and quaffable. Okay. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 30, 2005 Bottle into tulip glass. Clear amber brown in the glass with a white fizzy head of medium size, diminishing to a dusting of bubbles in teh center with a ring on the edge. Lacing is ok but oily; great sub-surface "racing." Yeasty smell with notes of wet green grass; pilsener hops; fresh and earthy overall. Taste was of fructose, prickly acid turning tangy; like a honeydew melon. NO bitter in the hops. Some stickiness in the finish, which was also dusty and smoky malt. Prickly nature might have been roast malt. Smooth and drinkable with a light to medium body. puggy211 (591), cordova, Tennessee, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2005 The bottle poured a dark reddish brown liquid with an off-white rocky medium head that lasted for a short time and dissipated almost entirely leaving almost no lacing. The aroma is light and fruity. The sweet malt comes through nicely. The taste is delicate and slightly bitter. There are initial notes of coffee and chocolate. The finish is long-lasting and also a bit bitter. Rustyham (585), miami, Florida, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 19, 2009 chewy malty flavor, very thin with a slight light roasty flavor. Overall very dissapointing. Only drink it if it is free and you need the rating. On tap from some lame-ass oktoberfest in Miami.
