Delicate but big malt flavour. Perfect bitterness for balance. A delicate hop bouquet is evident not only in the aroma but also in the flavour.

Pours brown with very small off-white head. Nose is creamy, sweet, nutty. Flavor is as well, too sweet for my taste, and a touch of off flavor - old bottle maybe? Rather musty, not as clean as I expect a dunkel, and some fruity flavors as well.

Bottle. Poured a darker brown color with no head at all. Aroma was some fruits and caramel. Flavor was roasted malts and caramel. Very thin and light body. Very drinkable.

TAP: brown pour, nice off-white head. Aroma is caramel and dark fruit, taste is malty, sweet, bread, hints of fruit. Tasty stuff.

Nice deep charred wood brown with off white head. Light malt and faint roasted notes on the nose. Light body with no finish. Light roasted flavor though really not a lot to it. Decent quaffer but the color doesn’t indicate anything as to the flavor.

Very nice malty arom and rich dark color made me very excited about this beer. The taste however didnt live up to my hopes. It had some good maltieness but was somewhat sour and all in all rather plain. A decent but far from spectacular beer.

Bottle in a loud, dark indie rock club. Dark semi bitter malts. mostly caramel with a metallic sort of reflection. Not too good on the dunkle tip. Kinda like cookie tasting but not quite cookie dough. Its an easy drinker, not bad...but not great.
