(Draft @ FS, HOU). Pours a very dark red-brown body, somewhat transparent. Big frothy off-wn. Funky spicy aroma, maltiness, dark fruit. Dark fruity musty taste, maybe like over-ripe bananas. Grapey. Malty. Fizzy. Good.

Nov 28, 2008 bottle. has a very sweet aroma, wheaty aroma. pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. has a very plain yet easy to drink flavor. bit of a carmel aftertaste.

Nov 28, 2008 Opens to a loud dud. Brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of mild skunk, grain and toasted malt. Taste of caramel and some mild dark malts but mostly tasteless and bland with a dry finish.

Nov 21, 2008 This is such an underrated beer. I love it so much because it is a perfect cigar compliment. It has the perfect mouthfeel for this style, better than any other I’ve had. It has a long, smooth, easy going finish. One of the beers you don’t have to think about.

Nov 20, 2008 It had a strange grape/wine aroma to it. I’m pretty sure I tasted some grape in there too, but besides that weird taste and aroma there wasn’t much else going on here. Not a bad beer, but pretty boring overall.
