Smooth, heavy on the palate, and slightly effervescant with a lingering after taste. Perfect for a quick swig or more studied enjoyment.

Far better than the Pilsener, dark pour, with slight chocolate/caramel aroma and flavor. It’s not strong at all and easy to drink.

Bottle. A good Dunkel. Clean tasting, but flavorful. Roasty, but not overwhelmingly so.

From a bottle--Poured a dark brown body with a frothy off-white head. Faint malty grain aroma with a small hoppy spice. Very smooth with hints of chocolate and sweet biscuits. Nothing stands out about this beer, but sometimes you just want a mild dark brew like this.

I picked this one up in one of those make your own six packs. I had very low expectations, because the regular warsteiner that I tried once was not very good. This one however proved to be a decent beer. It’s dark, but surprisingly smooth. Not one of my top beers, but a solid one nonetheless.

On draft. Nice dark brown colored beer with no head. Aroma of sweet chocolatey malt and a little roastiness. Mostly sweet and malty with a touch of roast. It has the slightest crisp finish. I liked this one alot.
