| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 18, 2008 From a bottle--Poured a dark brown body with a frothy off-white head. Faint malty grain aroma with a small hoppy spice. Very smooth with hints of chocolate and sweet biscuits. Nothing stands out about this beer, but sometimes you just want a mild dark brew like this. metsbcd (82), Connecticut, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 5, 2008 I picked this one up in one of those make your own six packs. I had very low expectations, because the regular warsteiner that I tried once was not very good. This one however proved to be a decent beer. It’s dark, but surprisingly smooth. Not one of my top beers, but a solid one nonetheless. riversideAK (2803), Shoreline, Washington, USA
