Feb 11, 2002 this beer is damn good...I am a pretty big fan of it...I drank 8 liters the other night and didn’t even feel bad the next morning...for me a true sign of a well brewed beer.

Oct 9, 2002 It’s light bodied for a rich dark beer, full in flavor with a sweet and smooth taste. It’s a beer to simply enjoy, where you don’t have to wrestle with the flavors to appreciate it.
I’ve have had this beer a few times, and it seems to vary greatly by place. I don’t know if it’s distributer differences or what, but when it’s good, it’s really good!

May 31, 2005 Pours dark brown with a long lasting head. Finish is a little bit strong. Bought for $24 a case in PA, good bang for your buck.

Apr 30, 2006 Wow! What a Treat! Superb beverage. As the bottle quotes ’life is too short to drink cheap beer’. A must have with it’s dark tones and soothing character.

Dec 29, 2007 Not very carbonated, but an excellent flavor. Rich amber color, little to no head. Starts full-flavored and ends pleasantly fruity.
