Nose is malt, the start malt sweet, the top is light, the finish is lightly hopped, dry, acidic, moderately carbonated, a good beer, but a bit ’Lite’ for me. The taste is slightly nutty, with hints of caramel, a touch of chocolate, and fresh malts. Nicely balanced finish with a subtle touch of hops.

Another beer served too cold in Oklahoma. But that didn’t stop me from enjoying it. After warming up, lightly roasted malt and hops became apparent in the aroma. Mild malts in the flavor with a short sweetness. Lightly roasty. A pretty decent beer. DEbeer (192), West Virginia, USA

It has a solid, simple taste that hints at nuts and chocolate. OK. Nutty and somewhat roasty but not very complex. Dark brown with red hint. Smooth and fairly good finish. Excellent to use as a gulper. slinkymello (137), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA

Less hoppy than the becks dark, yet more robust with a more pronounced roasted malt flavor... nice, light body as well. Of all the grocery store dark brands, this is highly recommended.
