Great sweet, malty taste and aroma to this brew. It has a soft fnish and doesn’t leave any bitter aftertaste. Cybercat (811), Georgia, USA

Aroma is strongly malty with a hint of caramel. Flavor is well-rounded, not complex but delicious and satisfying, malty with just a hint of hops and a whisper of sweetness. Rather smooth and pleasant. TheGreatAddo (14), West Hills, California, USA

This beer is very smooth and flavorful (chocolate and a bit nutty). I had it at the local bar and decided to buy a 6-pack later in the week. It’s not bad (regardless of what its overall percentile tells you. Try it out. beerauthority (12), Colorado, USA

Although a good beer, I’m not sure it merits the almost 10 dollars per 6 bottles (for some reason the 12 pack is only a couple of bucks more, but hard to find). Overall a tasty delight. donteatpoop (124), Youngstown, Ohio, USA

I bought it once by accident; but as the great Bob Ross would have said, it was a "happy accident". I’ve had the pleasure of drinking this dunkel in both bottles and on tap. Needless to say it is best on tap. It has a rich full body and a nice dark hue to it. A friend of mine’s father is head of a local german heritage club here in Youngstown, and he believed so much in this beer that he fought tooth and nail with the council to approve this be sold there. The council was against it because it is a relatively new brewery, but after tasting it they could not deny that it deserved a place. This beer goes down silky-smooth and sits well in the stomach. One of the best dunkels you can purchase in the states; definately worth the price.
