Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color dunkel with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light sweet caramel malt is pretty neutral. Taste is very bland with light caramel malt with not much character. Very bland and boring version of the style and not something I am about to buy again anytime soon.

Aug 30, 2008 The only reason I bought this is cuz Beer magazine called this the beer of the month. Obviously they wuz smokin crack.
This has a cross between a very mild chocolate malt and hints of skunk aroma. It is watery as hell and was almost drain pour.
Avoid at all costs. I’ll have to try to pawn these off to people I work with.

Aug 30, 2008 Nice malty aroma and flavor with a hint of chocolate. Thin bodied and a bit underwhelming. Pours a medium brown with a 2 finder off white head. Easy drinking session beer.

Aug 18, 2008 From a bottle--Poured a dark brown body with a frothy off-white head. Faint malty grain aroma with a small hoppy spice. Very smooth with hints of chocolate and sweet biscuits. Nothing stands out about this beer, but sometimes you just want a mild dark brew like this.

Aug 15, 2008 If I had to drink one beer for the rest of my life, it would not be this one. Not to say its bad, I enjoyed this beer, but theres not too much to say about it honestly.

Aug 14, 2008 [1569-20080803] 500mL can. Tar-like dark malt aroma. Clear, dark dark brown body with quick bubbles. Mild malty grains flavour. Medium-full body. Drinkable and mildly boring.
