Sep 9, 2004 A yellow beer with a white disappearing head. Both the aroma and flavor is sour malty, the end is dry, and the body thin. The sournes probably stems from the lack of alcohol.

Aug 19, 2004 Really not very good. Slightly off, pale yellow, slow moving bubbles and quickly deteriorated head. Grassy aroma and vegetal flavor, bit of sweetness, moderate palate fading. I only drank it tonight because alcohol would have put me to sleep when I need to be awake.

Pale yellow, foamy white head, some lace. Nose has grass or hay, but aroma is quite weak. "Interesting" flavor which is maybe boiled vegetables, rye or brown sugar or all of them. Quite watery palate, a bit sugary aftertaste.

Aug 13, 2004 A refreshing N.A. beer. Very light and fairly nondescript, but not in the least bit offensive. Light, but pleasant aroma and flavor. Crisp, clean finish.

Jul 24, 2004 Light gold with lots of rising bubbles. Aromas are grain with mustiness, metallic elements and chemicals. Flavours are soda water with hints of citrus. There is some sourness on the finish but it is artificial. This is fizzy and bloating. Drink sparkling water instead or fruit juice if you want to taste something.

Jul 17, 2004 Updated: Jul 24, 2004And, as usual, Warsteiner does it right. I was really surprised to find this beer sitting in my local beer shop. I wasn’t aware that Warsteiner had a non-alcoholic beer. For an NA brew, this is great. Even better than Heineken Buckler. It smells nice--the scent is of malt and hops. It even tastes like beer. A little metallic, bloody, maybe, but not in a bad way. It gives it a dark, bitter taste that is actually quite pleasing. They did that right, because most NA brews have a watery aftertaste. The bitterness of this beer hides that well and turns out quite nice. I know I’d drink this waaaaay before many other alcoholic brews...that is, if I could find it. Hope you can find it too. Enjoy!

Jun 30, 2004 The beer Geek comes thorugh again.Albeit not the best but it will have to do.Nice golden color,small white head that faded fast leaving nothing behind.The aroma was malty and cerealish with a definate sweet thing going on here.The flavor was sweet malty and just a hint of hops with a slight cereal like quality coming through.I just can’t seem to aquire a taste for this style.The best NA i can remember was something called simply Near Beer which is no longer made.This brew could ease up on some of the sweetness and it would be pretty decent.
