| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Nov 8, 2005 A light yellow "beer" with no head. The aroma is sweet - artificially and very lemony, while the flavor also is very lemony again somewhat artificial with a slight touch of malt, and a dry end. I wonder if artificially sweeteners has been used. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 3, 2005 330 ml bottle. Pale golden beer with a thick, fairly sticky white head. Aroma is of pale lager, sweet lemony nose. Very artificial smelling, more like 7-Up than actual lemon. Flavour is the same, sweet lemon soda flavour on the front with a light pale malt character on the back. Very low bitterness and a cloyingly sweet body. Not really offensive, but it’s not a beer either. More of an alcopop. nigos (620), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Sep 16, 2005 Ditto my rating of Becks Green. Its just utter pissy nonsense that really has no place on this website. A girly drink with virtually no taste what so ever. Oakes (8166), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jul 25, 2005 Unlisted to my knowledge at BCL, I found this at the Poco store where it was the only one of its kind. I was buying oldies for re-rates but couldn’t pass up a new beer that wasn’t a malt liquor. In retrospect, I probably should have scooped the O’Keefe Extra Old Stock as this proved a failure in all respects. You’d think that on a hot summer’s day after hiking to the top of a mountain this would hit the spot, but it’s far too sweet and artificial for that. Moreover, it has a distinct lack of beer character - more like lemon and ginger ale, with an unhealthy dose of citric acid added to the mix as an afterthought. Gak! Stick to Russell Lemon, if you insist on such things. Me? I’ve got a Schneider Weisse in the fridge. shrubber85 (3014), Wallhalben, Germany
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jul 3, 2005 Bottle. Smells like lemonade someone spilled beer into. Light yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet lemon flavor with only a hint of beer. Basically a less sweet Radler. Bland and non-offensive.
