ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Feb 10, 2009 Yellow with a medium head. Malty aroma with a touch of caramel, a little hops and weak DMS. Malty flavour with a sweet touch. Well hopped. TheJollyOne (203), Kofu, Japan Feb 7, 2009 Straw body and think white head. Nose of corn and straw, with light floral hop. Taste was very grassy and bitter. Slight metallic aftertaste. Ill be skipping it next time. lowg (123), Scarborough, Ontario, Canada Feb 4, 2009 330ml bottle, six pack from LCBO. Pour golden with thick head. Typically nice bready/citrus aroma. Sweet taste with a nice balancing bitterness in the end. An above average brew better than most Euro lagers available at the LCBO. Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Feb 2, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear light gold with a three finger dense white head. The nose is sweet malt and light hops. Taste is pretty much the same. Medium mouth feel. Not earth shattering, but a refreshing sessionable brew. eManu (170), Brussels, Belgium Feb 2, 2009 Had this draft lager, light and refreshiing, not bad, good beer, nothing special though.
Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England Feb 2, 2009 Eazy to sink Pilsener ,with lots of maltiness & expressive hop tangz. A bit grainy and buttery .Could be a bit dryIer .I like Pil’s to be really, really dry. Is that some pineapple ester in there ? . fredthecat (176), Canada Feb 1, 2009 smells slightly corny and a bit like straw. colour is a clear gold with a moderate head that lasts. bitter and with a bit of hops, followed by a tiny little medicinal style bitter. keeping in mind the rating compared to the wide availability and price of this beer, this is most likely one of the beers i have consumed the largest quantity of in my life. good on a meal or on its own, a great standby. Pipper (225), Ohio, USA Jan 25, 2009 Out of the bottle, no chance for a glass at the tiny deli on Isola Pescatori in Lake Maggiore, Italy. Resembles a "nice" version of Keystone Light. Not very bitter, low carbonation. Not great but fine to wash down with a proscuitto and cheese panino.
