fsbw21086 (69), New Jersey, USA Sep 25, 2009 Very drinkable german beer. Light - med mouthfeel grassy flavor. Crisp flavor that’s slightly bitter and finishes well. Slightly malty and has a slightly skunky flavor. Feels alittle oily afterwords. Strangely it has almost no aroma. Like.. coors light has more aroma than this! 09maso3 (69), vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 24, 2009 an ok/decent pils. more on the sweet than the bitter side. far better than the lagers made over here but not too exciting. judasbeer (230), Budapest, Hungary Sep 24, 2009 330 ml bottle. Pale yellow color with diminishing white head. Hay with grassy hops in the aroma. Nutty, malty flavor with
a touch of honey sweetness. Not so bad mass-pils, but i prefer the saaz hoppy czech pilsners. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Sep 22, 2009 11.2 oz. bottle picked up for $5 a 12-pack - Pours a clear light golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Very light lacing. Aroma is grain and herbal hops. Flavor is the same. Medium body. No unpleasant aromas or off flavors. A nice easy drinking Pils. For $5 a 12-pack, I’ll be buying the shit out of this beer. Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 19, 2009 Bottle from the Sherlock’s in Lincoln Square. Pale yellow pour, no aroma, taste is a little watery. decimator (41), Ontario, Canada Sep 17, 2009 500ml can poured into a pint glass. Poured a clear yellow with a 1.5" head. Very little lacing. Aroma of grass, malts & hops. Tastes of sweet malts up front with a good bitter hop finish. Mouthfeel is pretty average for a Lager. This is one of my go to beers but there certainly are better Pilsners available. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Sep 15, 2009 500. Pours a crystal clear pale gold with a loose white foamy head. Skunky nose that also shows some peppery bitter hop with earthy undertones. Kind of a compromise there. Creamy medium body, could be a little crisper, probably. Toasty, nutty, some dry leaves on the mid-palate. Long finish of dark toast. mixos (50), Greece Sep 7, 2009 Gold-yellow color. Medium white head. Almost no aroma at all. Flavor of malts and hop with hints of fruits. Medium bitter finish. Easy drinkable.
