Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 7, 2008 Easily one of my favourite German Pilseners. Well balanced and goes down smooth. I drink these a lot nowadays. Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Aug 6, 2008 On tap at T’Nev’s in Naperville.
Very clear golden light with a white, foamy head. Pretty cheap looking, actually. Not too aromatic, but hints of lemon, mild grains, and century old pennies. Very light and crisp without a whole lot of aftertaste or hoppiness. Slightly fruity and grassy flavor with a very light sweetness and german tasting malt. Overall a decent beer to have on tap at a bar without too many selections. wyzzywyz22 (754), Wirral, Merseyside, England Aug 5, 2008 Soul Cafe, Budapest. This was pretty bloody horrible. Revolting metallic chemical tinge. Nasty aftertaste. Rank !!
The German Fozters ! blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 2, 2008 bottle, clear gold color, bright white head, fruity nose, flavors of apple juice and lemon, crisp finish smjohnst (202), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 2, 2008 This is a good beer for the price. It is like enough that you could drink a bunch but to me it does not taste watered down. ewestern (198), Ohio, USA Jul 30, 2008 Pale golden color with a decent head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is citrusy with skunky under tones, taste was the same, but skunk taste may been because of the scent. Light carbonation with a crisp finish. I have had better Warsteiner than this, but this is what I was served tonight. patricks110 (275), Alberta, Canada Jul 30, 2008 Overall, a good pils. Had on tap in Kimberley, BC. Pours bright golden yellow in colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is a plain grainy scent with mild malts. The flavour is somewhat hoppy and has tasty malts. Overall, a average pilsner. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 29, 2008 No 400

Bottle, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours yellow, clear (almos perfectly) in its body, shiny and lively typical Pilsener colour, carbonation of body is weak to medium, head is initially quite big, than decreasing to medium. There is quite nice lacing, head is foamy to frothy, snowy white in colour.
Aroma: Bitter, grainy, dusty, cardboard, paper, hoppy, malty character is rather hidden, citrusy and most of all chalky, clean and again like in the previous typical of Pilsener style.
Flavour: Nice bitterness with hoppy - aromatic nose and mildly grainy touch. Reduced sweetness as compared to ’Krombacher’, in the aftertaste grains and flour with chalkyness is felt. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery with slight bitterness and saltyness flavour. Carbonation on palate is medium, finish feel is grainy, floury, chalky typical for Pilsener.
